Salvatore Valenza

Salvo has 20+ years of experience in networking, wireless systems and software development. At Cisco, Salvo works as senior software engineering manager and focuses on wireless networking, mesh and immersive netops technologies. He also worked as a technical leader with Cisco Systems for IOS-XR, network management, medianet and wireless IOS-XE products. Before joining Cisco, Salvo worked as manager and technical leader in multiple telecommunications environments for Motorola, Nortel and Ericsson. He is now based in Switzerland, but spent long business periods in USA, Italy, Sweden, Germany, France and Canada. Salvo holds 8 Cisco US and international patents and more than 10 are currently in review at the USPO. When possible, he also holds classes of wireless device drivers and operating systems at the Swiss University of Applied Science in Yverdon-les-Bains (Switzerland).
